It is worth checking the project requirements before construction starts. Permit and site-check requirements can depend on the project, so we review the plans and what needs to be handled before work begins. For outdoor living projects, we can help you understand the planning and permitting steps that apply and make sure they are addressed as part of the overall design process.
The right choice depends on how you want to use the space and where the sun reaches your backyard. Designing an outdoor living space involves thinking about shade, layout and use. Depending on the project, either pergolas, or covered patios can be incorporated into the design. We can review your space and help you choose an approach that fits how you want to use the area.
You can add an outdoor kitchen to an existing space, but the design needs to work with what is already there. We design custom outdoor kitchens to suit your property, existing features, and the way you want to use the space. We also consider the placement of the kitchen, patio, pool, and other outdoor features during the design process. So, the finished space works together instead of feeling like separate additions.
There is not one material that works best for every backyard. We consider the look, the layout, the surrounding features and how you plan to use the space when helping you choose outdoor materials. Concrete pavers and decorative concrete are among the materials we work with for outdoor spaces. We can review the options with you as part of the design process so the patio fits the rest of your backyard.
Your countertop is an important part of the outdoor kitchen because it affects both the appearance and how you use the space. We consider counter space, kitchen layout, storage, seating and how you plan to use the space when designing the kitchen. Our goal is to create an outdoor kitchen where the layout, counter space, seating, and surrounding backyard work together.
