Online Pool School by Pool Stop - Info & How To's

A description of the various pumps we offer to our customers.

At Pool Stop, we sell and install Jandy pool pumps because of their excellent design and generous warranty terms (three years parts and labor). Jandy makes pumps for every possible application related to your pool and spa. If you prefer a different brand, we can certainly install and support that product, but we feel that the Jandy family of products provides the best combination of quality and value for our customers.

Click on any of the blue links to go to a page with a lot more technical information on that specific pump, including cost of operation and physical size.

Jandy Flo-Pro - this is our best selling pump. It's compact design and adjustable height makes it a great replacement for your previous pump, regardless of the manufacturer. This also comes in two speed and variable speed models.

Jandy PlusHP - this is a high head pump with a large trap basket. It is a great pump for high head applications such as in-floor cleaning systems or as a spa jet booster pump.

Jandy Stealth - this is a quieter pump that has the largest basket in the industry. It works well on pool spa combinations, but it is a bit larger, so there are some retrofit situations where it will not fit.

The variable speed pumps by Jandy are energy star certified and come with a three year parts and labor warranty. They pay for themselves in energy savings before the warranty ends in most cases. Variable speed pumps also save money on your pump and filter maintenance costs. Click here for more information on all the money saving features of Jandy variable speed pumps.

Jandy Flo-Pro- this is our standard Flo-Pro pump with a variable speed motor and controller. This makes a great replacement for all types of older pool pumps, PLUS it saves enough in electricity to pay for itself in 2-3 years.

Jandy E-Pump - this is the Stealth pump with a variable speed motor and control. If you want a variable speed pump with a larger trap basket, then this pump.

Jandy E-Pump with SVRS - we offer this pump in a SVRS (suction vacuum release system) model that meets the Virginia Graemme Baker laws. Not sure if you need SVRS equipped pump? Click here for more details of the pros and cons of the SVRS feature.

Jandy Water Feature Pumps - this is a specially engineered medium head pump that is ideal for water features like Sheer Descents and Laminar Jets which operate under a moderate level of back pressure, but require a lot of water flow.

Jandy Waterfall Pumps - this is a specially engineered low head pump that is perfect for waterfalls which operate under very little back pressure ,but require massive amounts of water flow.
