An overview of the features and benefits of the control systems we sell.

Jandy has been making their AquaLink family of pool spa controls for 20 years.  When you buy a Jandy control system, you have the assurance that it will not be obsolete in a few years, as happens with so many of the competing products.  Jandy has been the leader for decades in this business, while many others have come and gone.

Jandy manufactures a wide variety of control systems to fit every type of pool, from the simplest to the most complex system.

JANDY iAQUALINK

If you are looking for a web-connected system with all the latest features, you should look at this one. It is very reasonable with a starting installed turnkey price that is well below $2000, which offers you the best value among all current control systems.

  • Web Connect - allows you to access your system from your smartphone, tablet or computer.  This also give us the ability to assist you, because we are able to log in and remotely evaluate and program your system for you.
  • Control up to 4 devices - in addition to controlling your heater and salt system, we are able to control up to four other circuits (pumps, lights, air blower, pool cleaning pump).
If you want an iAquaLink system that will control more devices (up to 32), then you will need the AquaLink RS (below) and add the iAquaLink web connectivity as a feature.
  • Easier Programming - the iAquaLink computer interface is much easier to use than the handheld or wall mounted interfaces.
  • Remote Monitoring- if you have a variable speed pump, you can see your exact energy usage at any given time on your phone or computer.  You can also make sure that your pumps came on if the weather is cool and you are far away.
  • Compatible with the Latest Technology - this unit is directly compatible with all of Jandy's VS pumps and LED lights as well as many of the competitor's pumps and lights.

JANDY AQUALINK RS

This uses the exact same circuit board and other components as the iAquaLink system but it uses a standard wired indoor control panel, for those who are more comfortable with this style of interface.  It also has a larger enclosure to accomodate more relays.

The good news is that this can be upgraded to iAquaLink web connectivity at any point in time if the customer would like to do that at a later date.  (It costs between $800 - $1000 to do so, so if you think you might want it, then consider the iAquaLink system.)

  • Indoor Panel - this uses a wired indoor panel.  If you want, we can also add the iAquaLink web connectivity and/or a wireless handheld unit to this system..
  • Control up to 32 devices - in addition to controlling your heater and salt system, the basic systems are designed to control 4 or 8 other circuits (pumps, lights, air blower, pool cleaning pump), but it is expandable up to 32 circuits.
  • Larger Control Enclosure - the  standard AquaLink enclosure holds up to 8 relays, while the iAquaLink foundation kit holds only 4 relays.
  • Compatible with the Latest Technology - this unit is directly compatible with all of Jandy's VS pumps and LED lights as well as many of the competitor's pumps and lights.

JANDY AQUALINK PDA

The Jandy PDA system is a great option for those who do not have a dependable internet connection and would prefer to use a wireless handheld control.

This system can be upgraded if desired at a later date to accomodate a wired control panel or iAquaLink web interface, but the price is fairly high so if you think you might want web connectivity, you should consider doing it from the start.

  • Wireless Handheld Remote - this uses a water "resistant" handheld remote. We do not recommend dropping it into the pool, however.

JANDY AQUALINK Z4

This is Jandy's entry level system.  It is more limited in its features, but it is capable of controlling a pool spa combination.
  • Control box - all of the programming must be done on the front of the outdoor box.  It is not able to be programmed remotely.
  • Control up to 4 devices - in addition to controlling your heater and salt system, the basic systems are designed to control 4 circuits (pumps, lights, air blower, pool cleaning pump).  It is not expandable
  • Optional Web Connectivity (limited features) - you can web connect this unit, but it is only capable of turning items on and off and monitoring pool temperature and outdoor temperature and changing temperature setpoints.
You cannot program items, monitor energy consumption or change settings via the web connect on this unit.
  • Optional AquaPalm Handheld Unit - you can add a wireless handheld unit to this so that you can turn items on and off without walking over to the control box. You cannot program or change settings (except temperature) through this unit.
  • Compatible with the Latest Technology - this unit is directly compatible with all of Jandy's VS pumps and LED lights as well as many of the competitor's pumps and lights.
